End of Season News

COVID-19: There has been so much unknown and a lot of patience has been required as we learn more about COVID-19. Our number one priority is our players and families and keeping everyone safe  and healthy.  Due to the recent Governor's Stay at Home Mandate and extending students  to remain at home doing distance learning until May 4th, the remainder of the volleyball season is cancelled.  All tournaments have been cancelled and the Duluth hotel block has been cancelled.  Again, we want to thank all of our  coaches, families and players for a great season. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Things to do:

1. Confirm your reservation was cancelled:

     Radisson Hotel Duluth-Harborview 1 (218) 727-8981

2. The White Bear Lake Junior Volleyball Board will be looking to refund families. However, we will look at expenses and what refunds we get back from all tournaments and then will determine the amount  families receive after that.

3. The season may be over...but training does not have to be. Check out our player enrichment tab under camps and clinics for plenty of opportunities to continue to work on volleyball skills to improve on for next season!

Check out White Bear Community Ed, our very own Varsity coaching staff offer many opportunities for skill development this summer![category]=63

Tournament Results

Our teams have been performing at a very high level this year; there was noticeable growth between the Big Luau and the President’s Day tournaments overall placements (17% increase in placement over the course of 1 to 2 weeks).

15-2’s had a fantastic showing as our club’s top placer at the Big Luau with a 3rd place finish in the Aspire Division.   President’s Day Tournament we saw two teams achieve podium level with the 12-1s placing 3rd in the Aspire Division and the 17-1s taking 2nd in the Classic Division.

Notably, our teams have been outperforming many of our ‘peer’ competitor clubs with high placements, most recently at the Royal Court Classic.  This is a great base to our season and we are excited to see how our athletes grow in the 2nd half of this season.
