Board Positions

Board Member Position Descriptions

Director: Responsible for program overall. Runs board meetings, acts as liaison between school program and JO program; collaborates with Athletic Director as needed. Serves as face of the organization to the community at large.

Coaching Director: Facilitates recruiting, hiring and is responsible for all communication with the coaches throughout the season.

Player/Parent Rep: Serves as intermediary between families and coaches if any issues arise.

Secretary: Schedules board meetings; responsible for documenting the minutes/actions from each meeting.

Facility Scheduling: Responsible for facilities scheduling practices for practices and clinics.

Treasurer: Responsible for managing the finances; including fee payments, coach salaries, expenses and tax preparation.

Registration: Coordinates all aspects of registration as well as tournament/play date scheduling.

Uniform Coordinator: Coordinates, selects, orders and distributes uniforms for all players.

Equipment: Manages equipment at all practice facilities, storage locker and replaces/repairs equipment when necessary.

Web Administrator: Manages the website including registration, surveys, announcements, email communications to families, etc.

Player Enrichment: Arranges all clinics (pre-tryout and during season) for player skill enhancement.

Marketing/Fundraising: Arranges and facilitates marketing and fundraising activities for the program.
